About All Sticky Notes
All Sticky Notes started from a simple frustration: every digital note-taking tool demanded too much — sign up here, install that, pick a plan, configure a workspace. But sometimes you just need to write something down right now.
So we built the opposite. A free, instant, privacy-first productivity board that lives in your browser. No account. No download. No subscription. Open the page and start pinning thoughts, tracking habits, and running focus timers in under two seconds.
Our Mission
We believe productivity tools should disappear into the background — present when you need them, invisible when you don't. All Sticky Notes is designed to be the fastest path between a thought in your head and a note on your screen, with just enough structure to help you stay on track.
Privacy by default. Your notes and data never leave your device. Everything is stored in your browser's local storage — no server, no sync, no data collection. What you write is yours alone.
What Makes It Different
- Physics-driven canvas. Notes drift and sway on a gentle wind simulation, giving the board a living, tactile feel that flat tools never achieve.
- Zero friction. No login, no onboarding wizard, no feature tour. You land on the canvas and start writing.
- 10 productivity mini apps. Pomodoro timer, task checklist, habit trackers, mood journal, water tracker, calendar, analog clock, and image cards — all draggable, all persistent, all free.
- Works everywhere. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on Mac, Windows, or any modern device — no app store, no permissions, no installation required.
- Offline ready. Once loaded, the app works without an internet connection. Your notes are always there.
- Multiple themes. Candy, Light, and Dark modes — choose the visual mood that helps you think best.
- Archive, not delete. Notes you're done with go to the archive, not the trash. Restore them any time.
Mini Apps on Your Board
Beyond sticky notes, All Sticky Notes ships with ten draggable mini apps you can pin anywhere on your canvas. Each one is customisable, saves its state automatically, and requires no setup.
Pomodoro Timer
A fully-featured focus timer built on the Pomodoro Technique. Set work intervals, short breaks, and long breaks. The card tracks your session count through the cycle, plays a chime when time is up, and lets you rename each timer so you can run multiple in parallel for different tasks. Choose from 6 colour themes to match your current note layout.
Task Checklist
A lightweight to-do list card that lives on your board. Add unlimited items, check them off as you go, double-click any item to rename it, and watch the progress bar fill up. Ideal for daily to-dos, shopping lists, meeting agendas, or project sub-tasks — all without leaving the canvas.
All Habits — 7-Day Tracker
Track multiple habits at once with a weekly view. Each habit shows the last 7 days as clickable day-letter circles. Tap a day to mark it complete and watch your streak counter climb. Perfect for anyone building routines like daily exercise, journaling, or learning a new skill.
Monthly Habit Tracker
Focus on a single habit with a full-month calendar grid. Tap each day to mark it done and see your monthly completion percentage at a glance. Choose a custom emoji for the habit and colour theme to match your board. Great for habit challenges or monthly goals.
Advanced Habit Tracker
The most powerful habit card in the set. Track one habit with customisable frequency targets, detailed streak statistics, longest streak records, and a compact calendar heatmap. Built for people who want data-backed insight into their consistency, not just a simple tick.
Mood Journal
Log how you feel each day using 5 emoji mood levels — from very low to excellent. A colour-coded bar chart shows your emotional week at a glance. The card stores up to 30 days of mood history so you can spot patterns, track the impact of lifestyle changes, or simply stay more self-aware.
Water Tracker
Hit your daily hydration goal with a simple water intake tracker. Tap the droplet buttons to add glasses or switch to litre measurements. Set your own daily target and the card resets automatically at midnight, ready for a fresh start each morning.
Calendar
A clean monthly calendar that always opens on today. Navigate forward and backward through months, jump to any year, and choose whether your week starts on Sunday or Monday. Useful as a persistent date reference next to your notes and tasks — no app-switching needed.
Analog Clock
A live analog clock with a smooth-sweeping second hand. Adapts to your chosen colour theme so it blends naturally into your board. Toggle the digital time display below the clock face if you prefer numbers alongside the hands. The clock runs silently in the background without disturbing your flow.
Image Card
Pin any image to your board by URL. Add a styled caption below the image, control text alignment, adjust padding, or hide the caption entirely for a clean photo display. Useful for mood boards, reference images, project screenshots, or visual inspiration alongside your notes.
Who It's For
All Sticky Notes is for anyone who thinks visually and wants their ideas, tasks, and habits captured in one place — students jotting lecture notes and tracking study streaks, developers running Pomodoro sessions and managing TODO lists, writers collecting story fragments and mood boards, or anyone who wants a calm personal productivity space that opens instantly and never nags them to upgrade.
If you've ever stuck a paper note to your monitor, you already know exactly how to use this.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
Developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s, the Pomodoro Technique breaks work into focused intervals — called Pomodoros — separated by short breaks. The classic cycle is 25 minutes of focused work, a 5-minute short break, and a 15–30 minute long break after every four rounds. The name comes from the Italian word for tomato, inspired by the tomato-shaped kitchen timer its creator used as a student.
The built-in Pomodoro card follows this exact flow and tracks your session count through the cycle. Hit T on the board or use the Apps drawer to add one.
How does habit tracking work?
All Sticky Notes offers three habit-tracking cards for different needs. All Habits lets you track multiple habits in a single card with a 7-day view. Monthly Habit shows a full calendar grid for one habit. Advanced Habit adds frequency targets, streak stats, and a heatmap for one habit. All cards save automatically and require no account.
Is there a mood tracking feature?
Yes — the Mood Journal card lets you log your mood once per day using 5 emoji levels. A weekly bar chart and 30-day history help you spot emotional patterns over time.
Is All Sticky Notes free?
Completely free — no subscription, no freemium gate, no ads. All features including every mini app are available to everyone with no account required.
Where is my data stored?
All data — notes, habits, mood logs, water intake, tasks — is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to any server. Clearing your browser data will remove your board, so export or back up anything you want to keep.
